For those of you, like me who’ve been here since the first event in Hermann, Missouri – this was to be a big deal after 20 years.
Covid-19 has impacted all of our lives at some level, and for many of us, coming to Eureka Springs in late April has become part of our yearly cadence in life. This situation has created an asterisk in the history of the event which has gone without an interruption each year like clock work.
Our reasoning to meet on-line this year was initially to fill the void for many of us. In fact, some folks attended the virtual fest from home when the treck down to Arkansas was not feasible for them. In that regard, I believe in some ways our family grew, but it’s hard to tell how much bigger.
We have plans to meet on-line more before we get together next April. Please join us if you can. We will put the word out.
If time allows, it’s time to do a bit of spring cleaning here on the web site. It’s starting to show it’s age, and I anticipate as cooler weather arrives I’ll put some time into a minor overhaul.
Stay safe out there… Keith
